He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hoozer and Mae Van Hoozer (Albee); his son Victor Raymond Van Hoozer; his daughter-in-law Evelyn Van Hoozer; and his siblings, Bobby, Dorothy, Betty, Jerry and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Margery Van Hoozer; his children, Donald L. Van Hoozer (Dante), Richard A. Van Hoozer (Colleen), Cindy L. Van Hoozer (Kurt) and Sebby L. Van Hoozer (James "Jim"); his grandchildren, Adam, Kori, Bradley, Brian, Douglas, Karie, Tyler, Mallory and Mackenzie; and his great grandchildren, Kayleb, Camryn, Costner, Gabriel, Emily and Hansen.
Memorials may be directed to the Illinois Veteran's Home in La Salle or to St. Jude.
