He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Armstrong and Ruth Armstrong (Ovelman); his wife Sharry; his daughter Penny; and his siblings, Vernon Bayer, Oliver Carr, Jack Carr, David Carr, Ruth Mita Moore, Jeanne Cooper, Virginia Truty and Rita Marie Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Armstrong (Stephanie) of Morris, Amy Zulfer (Tony) of Sheridan, Jeff Armstrong of Branson, MO, Joe Seaman of Oklahoma, Rusty Armstrong (Anne) of Ohio, Jon Armstrong of Ohio, Cindy Sharp (Bill) of Ohio and Ruth Anne Armstrong; and his siblings, Bob Carr (Doris) of Ottawa, Patsy Wagner of Ottawa and Judy Green-Miskell of Marion. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
