He was predeceased by: his parents, John Verona and Sarah Verona (Zaccaria); and his siblings, Mary Verona and Russell Verona. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Verona; his children, Jeff Verona and Jennifer Bergeron; his siblings, Dolly Miller, Sarah Kranz and John Verona (Pam); and his grandchildren, Audra, Sara (Steve), Belle and Graham.
