He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Battles and Irene Battles (Early); his wife Jean Marie; and his daughter Mary Hartnett. He is survived by: his daughters, Susanne Rich (Joel Lubben) of Lanexa, VA, Carol Seebauer (Tom) of Spring Grove, IL and Lori Elmore (Steve) of McKinney, TX; and his grandchildren, David, Leslie Passante, Alicia LaDow, Jennifer Smerling, Nicholas Seebauer, Michelle Tansey, Blake Elmore, Jessica and Mark Bowen. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
