She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Thompson and Helen Thompson (Gubash); her husband David Holmes; her stepdaughter Sandy Olberg; and her brother Carl Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Matthew Holmes and Jacquelyn Holmes (Kyle Reichenbach); her grandchildren, Ellyana, Grayson, Flynn and Harrisyn; her brother John Thompson (Karen); and her sister-in-law Eva Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
