He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Meling and Betty Meling (Breitenkamp); his sisters, Gloria Meling Mason and Merrilee Meling Lubshina; and his brother-in-law Arthur Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Iverson; his children, Anne Marie Meling Wick (Donald), Kristen Lee Meling and Eric David Meling (Katie Adelsberger); his granddaughters, Torino Olivia Wick, Josephine Eleanor Wick and Linnea Adelsberger Meling; his brothers, Gary Meling (Joyce) and Robert Meling (Ann); and his brother-in-law Gerald Lubshina.
