We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 48, David Duane Syverson II (Ottawa, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph, Hazel Syverson, Donald and Doris Thompson. He is survived by: his parents, David Syverson and Sue Ann Mills (Syverson); his children, Jade Syverson-Snell of Ottawa, Richard Syverson of San Antonio, TX and Jennifer Selby of Seneca; his stepchildren, Jenna Zeznanski of Seneca and Shawntey Mitchell of Ottawa; his sister Elisa Herr (John) of Magnolia; his niece Bailey Herr; his uncles, Ralph H. Syverson, Donald and Charles Thompson; and his aunt Diane Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home (1601 E Norris Dr, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM.
