He was predeceased by: his parents, Lars Espevik and Petra Espevik (Nordtvedt); his siblings, Leif Espevik, Anna Anderson, Solveig Smith, Lillian Espevik, Priscilla Worthington and Leonora Walker; his brothers-in-law, Richard Anderson, Donald Smith, Rae Worthington and Ollie Walker; and his nephews, Paul Espevik and Larry Worthington.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Schaefer; his children, Craig Espevik (Barbara) of Park Ridge and Cheryl Fisher (David) of Sycamore; and his grandchildren, Jessica Fisher, Benjamin Fisher, Nicholas Espevik and Alexis Espevik.
