He is survived by: his parent Nancy Laka; his daughter Ashley Carroll; his stepchildren, Larry, Paul and Angela Trowbridge; his grandchildren, Avea Young and Sedalia Carroll; and his siblings, Frank Laka, Cheryl Laka and Pat Carroll.
