She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Strack and Catherine Strack (Shane); her daughter Amy Missel (John) of Streator; her sister LouAnn Bernadoni (Bill); her husband John; and her in-laws, Anton, Bretice Bangert, Florian Bangert, Marilyn, Ernest Carlson, Duane Bangert, Pat Rich and Jack Knapp.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Bangert (Dianne) of Ottawa, Jenny Goodman (Barrett) of Johnston, IA and Jerrod Bangert of Streator; her grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Isaac, Lauren, Isabel, Nora, Morgan, Anneliese, Cooper and Javin; her great grandchild James; her siblings, Robert Strack (Diane), Joan Novak (Terry), Richard Strack (Diane), Rod Strack (Rhonda), Dean Strack and Deb Tomaszewski (Dennis); her stepmother Marge Strack; her stepbrothers, Chuck Piecha and Dan Piecha (Judy); and her siblings-in-law, Florian Bangert (Bonnie), Marilyn Carlson (Ernest), Duane Bangert (Pat), Rosan Gruetzemacher (Jerry) and Ron Bangert (Phyllis). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:20 AM at the St. Valentine's Church (1109 Pulaski St, Peru, IL 61354). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery (975 N 17th Rd, Tonica, IL 61370).
