It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Birdie Caroline (Reynolds) Goodchild of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Reynolds and Edna Reynolds (Beguin). She is survived by: her husband Gerald A. Goodchild; her children, Joe Husted of Ottawa, Jerry Husted (Bobbie) of Ottawa, Terri Lynn Husted of Ottawa, Kevin Goodchild (Melanie) of Ottawa and Wayne Goodchild of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Joe Husted, Jr. (Katie), Kristen Jordan (Joshua), Gary McClain, Danny Husted (Mary), David Husted (Jessica), Mindy Matson (Luke), Duncan Goodchild (Jacqui) and Kali Goodchild; and her siblings, Raymond Reynolds (Sharon), Vernon Reynolds (Judy) and Donna Simmons. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
