We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 94, Bernadette Balzarini of Ottawa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. and Catherine Brown, Sr. (Murry); and her siblings, Katherine M. Brown and Edward Brown. She is survived by: her former husband Frank Cook; her husband John Balzarini; her children, Mary Rita Cushing (Lewis) of Ottawa and James Cook (Linda) of Rock Falls; her grandchildren, Kathleen Rombach (Eric), Michael Cushing (Ingrid), Anthony Cook, Danny Cook (Amanda), Candy Slayton (Tim) and Christine Barandela; and her great grandchildren, Kelcie, Mackenzie, Keating, Erin Rombach, Luke, Emma Cushing, Matthew Gibsen, Jenna Barandela and Landon Cook.
Due to COVID restrictions, private services will be held at St. Columba Church.
