It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arla Elaine Severson of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Weber and Mary Weber (Beck); and her husband Harold "Bud" Severson. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Schmitt (Larry) of Utica, Diane Farrell (Michael) of Ottawa and John Severson (Kim) of Dawsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Jason Schmitt (Kira), Laura Zarwell (Kyle), David Farrell, Kathryn Duggan (Dan), Lauren Tourlakes (Alexander) and Collin Severson; her great grandchildren, Madelynn, Reilly Schmitt, Nolan, Jax, Marek Zarwell, Hannah, Addison Duggan and Maverick Tourlakes; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Fergus.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church or Transforming Uganda Farmers.
