Anna Mae Brown Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Mae Brown of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Clapper and Celestine Clapper (Rohrer); her husband Kenneth Brown; and her siblings, Robert Clapper, Dean Clapper, Don Clapper, Mary Catherine Ullmark, Dorothy Shively and Eleanor Kleinprinz.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Brown (Cindy), Michael Brown, Douglas Brown (Diana) and Theresa Rogers (Joel); her grandchildren, Andrew "AJ" Brown (Jessenia), Ashley Creager (Stetson), Melony Burmaster (Bill), Aaron Brown (Rebecca), Jeremy Brown (Morgan), Brandon Brown and Bradley Brown; and her siblings, Grace DiGuiseppi, Doris Greene (Bob), Tommy Clapper (Sally), John Clapper and Harold Clapper. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ottawa Funeral Home (1111 La Salle St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (726 W Jefferson St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
