It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vallen Stewart Jr. of Oswego, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vallen Sr. Stewart and Louise Stewart (Richmond); and his brothers, Wade (Jewel), Joe (Margaret) and Charlie (Carletta).
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Valerie Stewart and Terrance Micah Knight; his grandchildren, Empress, Nataevia, Danica, Mikayla, Olympia, Khailani and Lila; his siblings, Mosell (Loretta), Sullivan (Dot), Roosevelt (Sue), Charles, Pearl Davis (Burt) and Venus Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Stewart and Ollie Williams (Venus). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
