He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Higgins and Leota Higgins; his wife Carolyn; his son David Higgins; and his brother Richard Higgins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Kish (Nick) and Joyce Luczyn; his brothers, Brian Higgins (Cathy) and Doug Higgins (Julie); and his sisters-in-law, Ava Denault, Jane Richardson and Barb Zinke. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (1200 22nd St, Mendota, IL 61342).
