He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Norman Laird and Elizabeth Collins; and his brother Arthur Laird. He is survived by: his wife Gail Laird; and his children, Michael Bryan Laird, David Joseph Laird and Andrea Laird-Steele. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and friends.
