He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Kemp. He is survived by: his mother Rachel Wiley; his siblings, Alan (Missy) and June; his wife Susan Peters Kemp; his children, Stephen Kemp (Jennifer) and Jennifer Signore (Sam); and his grandchildren, Sasha, Niko and Logan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

Neal's legacy will live on through his family, his contributions to his country and community, and the love and kindness he shared with those around him.

“I am shocked and saddened to hear about Neal passing. Neal was an important part of my faith journey at Good Shepherd Church. He was always upbeat and smiling. He was a great example of a man of faith. He will be missed by many. I hope we will all find peace knowing he is back in the hands of his maker. RIP Neal”
