She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Backas and Josephine Betty Doyle; her siblings, Karen, Robert, Lois (Gene Byrne), Paula (Peter Newbery) and Meg Backas (Mark Zablocki); her children, Maureen (Jeremy) and Matthew; her grandchildren, Jordan and Evan; her nieces, Mary Slotkowski (Jim Alessi) and Maggie Byrne (Brandon Carrel); her nephew Peter Byrne (Rebecca Wolfe); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sean, Leo, Conor, Paul and Baby Bingo; her aunt Marge; and her cousin Galena.
