Mark A. Lyter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark A. Lyter of Oswego, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lyter and June Lyter. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Lyter (Kroll); his children, Lisa Hatfield (David) and Matthew Lyter (Katie); and his sisters, Lezlie Burhorn (Butch), Kimberly Tanzillo-Lyter and Andrea Kirman (Don). He is also survived by nephews, and great-neices and nephews.

“I'm stunned that Mark passed. He was my boss at Tellabs on and off throughout my many years there. Mark was not only my boss, but a dear friend. I remember Mark driving his yellow car as old as dirt. He always said he would drive it till it died. I'm sure he did, as I did with my T-Bird; it died after 20 yrs.
