It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVon Lee Christensen of Oswego, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Christensen and Stella Christensen (Nee Drought); his daughter Vonda Bootz; and his siblings, Don Christensen and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Irene T. Christensen (Nee Rich); his son Tom Christensen (Paula); his stepchildren, William Melka (Rochel), Therese DeTolla (Steve) and Charles Melka (Jeanette); and his son-in-law John Bootz.
