He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome G. Zimmerer Sr. and Louise L. Zimmerer (Wieder). He is survived by: his wife Janet Munson Zimmerer; his sons, Robert, Andrew and Douglas; his daughter-in-law Lena; his son Adam; and his brother Jerry Zimmerer (Regina). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
