He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Ruth May, Leo and Ilene Thorsen; and his uncle Robert C. May.

He is survived by: his parents, Robert Thorsen and Jane Thorsen (May); his siblings, William Stapleton (Bill) and Heather Thorsen (Josh Gruettner); and his pets, Lily, Brody and Lavender. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
