He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia; his wife Helga; his birth mother Georgia; and his foster parents, Gladys and Verne.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Olson (late Mark) and Kenny; his daughter-in-law Valerie Buidosik; his granddaughters, Marci (Eddy Ruiz), Destiney and Alexis Buidosik; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Leyla and Aniylah; his pet Dillon; his sisters, Merilly (Ed), Patti (Jeff) and Diane; and his goddaughter Karola Staack.
