It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Mensik of Oswego, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne M. Mensik; and his parents, Matthew Mensik and Rosemary Mensik. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sander (Clay) of Aurora, IL, Joe Mensik (Laurel) of Oswego, IL, Kim Santoro (TJ) of Plainfield, IL and Sarah Booth (TK) of Darien, IL.; his grandchildren, Allison, Ella, Charlie, Izzy, Lexi and Jackson; his siblings, Tony Mensik (Bonnie) and Mary Lapwing (Glenn); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Smurawski (Rich), Janice Musselman, Ed Musselman (Andrea Benca) and Doreen Harris (Tony).
