He was predeceased by: his parents, John Husler and Lilly Husler; his brothers, James and Robert Husler; his stepdaughter Linda Sue McKee; and his great grandchild Donovan Lee Koehler.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Husler; his granddaughters, Angela Carr (Anthony) of Joliet, Shanna Carusi (Giuseppe) of Crest Hill and Amber Alstott (Daniel) of Plainfield; his great grandchildren, Vincenzo Carusi, Kaelie, Presley Carr and Scarlett Alstott; and his sister Carol Ann Parker (late Larry) of Raymore, MO..
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Plattville United Methodist Church (13025 Church Rd, Yorkville, IL 60560).
