He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustin Galarza and Baudilia Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Minerva Garcia-Galarza; his children, Gillian Galarza-Garcia (Gabriel) and Jay Galarza; his siblings, Doris Velasquez, Rosa Galarza, Maria Gonzalez (Jose), Raul Galarza (Josefa), Roberto Galarza (Esther) and Felipe Galarza (Pamela); and his pet Pugley Chapo. He is also survived by several nieces/nephews.
