It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Garbe (Oswego, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Garbe; his former wife Beth Murphy Garbe; and his brothers, Leroy, Ralph and Donald.

He is survived by: his parent Lucille Garbe; his wife Martha Garbe; his children, Michael Garbe (Peg) of Oswego, IL, Susan Rhoads (Richard) of Aurora, IL, Cynthia Garbe (Kim Chappell) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Peter Garbe of Gilbert, AZ and Laura Garbe of Montgomery, IL.; his grandchildren, Scott Garbe (April), Beth Garbe, Bridgette West (Sean), Matthew Rhoads and Daniel Rhoads; and his sister Maxine Foster.
