He was predeceased by: his cousins, Meghan Gardner and Autumn Helphingstine; and his grandmothers, Lucille Johnson and Joan Gardner. He is survived by: his parents, Sandra Gardner of Oswego and Edward Gardner of Bolingbrook; his sister Jessica Gardner of Northbrook; his nephew Bradley; his aunts and uncles, Sue Bennett (Andrew) of Wheaton, Robert Johnson of Chattanooga, TN, Candice Hadley of Aurora, Francis Gardner (Kathy) of Celebration and Daniel Gardner (Cathy) of Glen Ellyn; and his cousins, Meghan Bennett, Tiffany Helphingstine (Matthew), Liam Helphingstine, Samuel Johnson, Frank, Michael Gardner, Sean and Hayley Gardner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543).
