It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. Jenkins of Oswego, Illinois, born in Rich Square, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jenkins of Oswego; his daughters, Kelly Pigney (Wes) of Aurora and Laura Jenkins (Keith Soffner) of Aurora; his grandsons, Trevor Pigney of Aurora, James Pigney (Sarah Kottke) of Davenport, IA. and Alec Pigney (Sophia Spence) of St. Charles, IL.; his siblings, Wayne Jenkins (Joyce) of Portland, OR, Carl and Dixie Schneck (Jim) of Crown Point, IN.; his cousins, Marilee of Aurora, IL. and Michele Viola of Aurora, IL.; his close friend Paul Watnes of Geneva, IL; and his pet Tiffany.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
