He was predeceased by: his brother Gerald Lamer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Rita Cyncar (Matt), David H. Zumwalt, III, Diane Baron (Paul) and Donald Zumwalt (Cassidy); his grandchildren, Eve, Luke, Haven and Oliver; and his sister Norma Short (Ron).
