It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Kay Higgins of Oswego, Illinois, born in Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Williams and Esta Williams; her son David Higgins; and her brothers-in-law, William Richardson, Dale Denault and Elmer Zinke.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Higgins; her daughters, Nancy Kish (Nicholas) and Joyce Luczyn; her grandchildren, Alisha Miklosik (John), Mary Padilla (Renee), Angela Bruns (Nate), Alexander Kish, Rudi Luczyn and Matthew Higgins; and her sisters, Ava Denault, Jane Richardson and Barb Zinke. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carolyn's family to then be sent to Samaritan's Purse.
