With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol J. Remissong of Oswego, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Metzler and Elsa Dittman Metzler; her husband Bill; and her brother Odell. She is survived by: her cousin Marlene Schufer. She is also survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Donations should be made to the Aurora Public Library District Foundation or Our Savior Lutheran Church.
