He was predeceased by: his parents, Sven A. Nilsson and Edna A. Rehn Nilsson; and his siblings, Audrey Lindsey and Glenn Nilsson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret J. Carlson; his children, Mary Sue (James Billings), Diana (Fred Wallace), JoAnn (Mike Berg) and John; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Nilsson. He is also survived by six grandsons, six granddaughters, and 18 great grandchildren.
