He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hanson and Mary Hanson (Yohe); his sister Carol Hanson Klavon; his brothers-in-law, Charles Hoaglund and Russell Klavon; and his nephews, John Hoaglund and Kyle Klavon.
He is survived by: his wife Kristine Hanson of Osco, IL; his sons, Clayton Hanson (Jackie) of St. Paul, MN and Seth Hanson (Mary) of Pleasant Valley, IA; his grandchildren, Henry, Theodore, Finnegan and Parker Hanson; and his sisters, Sharon Hoaglund and Mary Christine Ward (Larry).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Geneseo Youth Football program and the Osco-Andover Fire District.
