With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Yvonne G. Deckinga (Orland Park, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Yvonne left this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Deckinga; her son Peter Deckinga (Jenise); and her siblings, Evelyn Woldhuis (late Hank), Marilyn Kooyenga (late Lou), Joan Tervin (late Bob) and Harry Boersma.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Leffring (Steve), Ken Deckinga (Jamie) and Bette Van Kuiken (Tom).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Community Christian Reformed Church (10415 Kedvale Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
