He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Ann Vanderlee (Grugett); and his grandson John Robert Nichoson. He is survived by: his son Keith Vanderlee (Michelle); his grandchildren, Alexis, Abigail and Alexander; his daughter Karen Spangler (Vanderlee); and his grandchildren, Ariel (Daniel), Holm (Nichoson) and Edward Stump.
The inurnment will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
