He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilou McInerney; his children, Tracey Hunt (Christopher), Thomas McInerney (Noelle) and Colleen Koch (Jason); his grandchildren, Katie, Christopher Hunt, Madeline, Nellie, Finnegan, Vinny McInerney, Ryan and Owen Koch; his siblings, Kathleen Schmidt (James), Jean Rolla (late Joseph) and Karen Fishback (Stephen); his parents, Thomas McInerney and Marie; his parent-in-law Thomas Dignan (late Laura); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Dignan (Marcy), Patricia Vogl (Gary), Joanne Brown (late William) and John Dignan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Incarnation Church (5757 W 127th St, Midlothian, IL 60418).
