It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley E. Knudsen (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H Knudsen; her parents, William Gausselin and Rose Gausselin; and her siblings, William Gausselin and Mary Frances Sladek.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Michelle) and Bryan (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Michael (Katie), Robert, Bryan (Katie), Lisa (Hal), Jason, Kelly and Kevin; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Leah, Delilah, Regan and Grace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gerald Church (9310 S 55th Ct, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
