He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Agnes McKeon (Finn); his parents, Alice McKeon (Crawford) and Robert McKeon; and his nephew Michael McKeon. He is survived by: his children, Tim McKeon (Lynn), Patty Kovats (Steve), Matthew McKeon (JoEllyn), Suzie Connors (Bill) and Katie McKeon-Lopez; his grandchildren, Ellyn Czaja (Patryk), Grace McKeon, Sara, Anna, Amanda Kovats, John, Conor, Timmy and Claire McKeon; his great grandchild Stanley Czaja; his friend Betty Conley; his brother Jim McKeon; his sister-in-law Rosemary Spakowitz (Alvin); and his nieces and nephews, Kevin McKeon, Meg McKeon, Debbie Kramer (John), Kim Short (John) and Tom Spakowitz (Diane Menchenski).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church (17500 84th Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60487).
