Bartos; his children, Kristen Fagan (Ryan) and Amanda Sabol (Tim); his grandchildren, Nathan and Madison; his parents, Richard P. Bartos and Lois Bartos; his brothers, Steven Bartos (Beverly) and Michael Bartos; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Gniadek (Gloria), Beverly Fry (Ken), Douglas Gniadek (late Terri), Al Gniadek (Shirley), Deborah Shami, Denise Murphy (late Frank), Nadine Liceaga (Edward), Leslie Pappas (Peter) and Renee Crain (Ken).
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Damian Church (5250 155th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452).
Interment Resurrection CemeteryIn lieu of flowers, gifts in Richard Bartos' memory may be made to support pancreatic cancer research in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
