She is survived by: her significant other Paso Fino; her children, Gregory Messer (Lora), Mary Secord (Ross Feithen), Richard Lawler (Bob Nielsen), Michael Lawler, Peggy DeSalvo (late Randy DeSalvo), Maureen Gardner (Paul) and Deanna Rolence (John); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Andrew, Jonathon, Emily, Rosemary, Nicholas, John, Michael, Samantha (James), Sydney (Michael), Harrison (Christiana), Rebecca, Reneé (Bryan), Maggie (Raymond), Katie (Michael), Brandon, Tessa (Jeff), Aaron, Brittany, Paul and Kayleigh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter, 13016 W. 151st St., Homer Glen, IL, in honor of Phyllis's enduring love for animals.
