With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael G McAuliffe (Orland Park, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McAuliffe and Eileen McAuliffe; and his brother Joseph "Butch". He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kathryn Obernesser (Robert), Kevin McAuliffe (Lisa) and Megan Fagan (Tim); his grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Patrick Obernesser, Madeline, Ryan, Conor McAuliffe, Mary, Margaret and Thomas Fagan; and his siblings, Maggie Tuzik (late Ted), Daniel McAuliffe (Marie) and Tim McAuliffe. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Prague Church (1131 Douglas Ave, Flossmoor, IL 60422).
