It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melody Ann O'Neal (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Melody's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Melody has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Kimberly Oatis (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Roderick Khari Shelton, Ianna Melody Oatis and Garret Kahlil Oatis; and her siblings, Michael Gentry (Angelica), Michelle Wyatt (Oscar), Thomas Gentry and Merritt Gentry (Dena). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
