With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo P. Smietanski of Orland Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary A. Kowalik Smietanski and Leo Smietanski; and his grandfather Poppie. He is survived by: his wife Sharon of Women's Center; his children, Laura Hernandez (Rick), Donna Yelnick (Jack), David Smietanski (Vicky) and Meredith Sheriff (Ryan); his stepfather Bruno A. Kowalik; and his sister Audrey. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
