He is survived by: his wife Jana; his siblings, Valerie LaPorte (Daniel), Harold A. (Cassie), Christopher (Heather) and Carl; his nieces and nephews, Noah (Jacquelyn), Rachel, Nathan LaPorte, Grace, Polly Ruhnke, Brianna, Chloe and Maggie Ruhnke; his great-niece Bella; and his great-nephews, Owen and Lewis.
