He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Tatera; and his parents, John Tatera and Lottie Tatera. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Tanya), Michael (Kimberly) and Laura Zdancewicz (late Tom); and his grandchildren, Justin, Meghan, Natalie, John, Jason, Collin, Kelly, Cory, Kyle and William.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Julie Billiart Church (7399 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 S 104th Ave, Palos Park, IL 60467).
