He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Voss and Johanna Voss; his grandchild Morgan; and his brothers, Allen Voss and Edward Voss.

He is survived by: his wife Sharla Voss (Zylstra); his children, Jacob Voss (Tiffany Tibstra), Shallise Voss, Rashelle Thornburg (Michael), Joseph Voss (Kristie Duracka) and Jeremiah Voss (Ashley Jaques); his grandchildren, Jakob, Jensen, Emma Voss, Benjamin Voss, Isabella Miller (Sean), Analeigh, Jocelyn Thornburg, Bradley, Blake, Everly Voss, Owen and Natalie Voss Jacob; and his siblings, Betty Loerop (late William), John Voss (Loreen Roon), Joanne Harnew (Bruce) and Grace Jongsma (Edward). He is also survived by 'Dad' and 'Papa,' his family.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
