Gene Lakinski Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 92, Gene Lakinski (Orland Park, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Lakinski; his children, Karen Mahoney, David Lakinski and Kimberly Lakinski; his son-in-law Eric Mahoney; his grandchildren, Sean, Kyle, Erin, Tara and Ryan; and his girlfriend Sheri Russell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Palos Hospital Hospice, 15295 E. 127th Street, Lemont, IL 60439 are appreciated.
