He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Gomorczak and Alice Gomorczak; his brother Daniel; and his brother-in-law Henry. He is survived by: his wife Elaine F.; his children, Christy Maddex (James), Craig Gomorczak (Nora) and Kimberly Keeley (Jim); his stepson Robert Reed (Stacy); his grandchildren, Ryan, Alyse, Addison, Shawn, Marty and Maya; his stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey, Zachary, Joseph and Cassie; his siblings, David (Roseanne), Ronald (Georgia), Patricia and James (Elizabeth); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy, Romayne (late Ronald), Michael (Kathleen) and Valerie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawn Funeral Home - Orland Park (7732 W 159th St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Lawn Funeral Home (7732 W 159th St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Damian Church (5250 W 155th St, Markham, IL 60452). A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
